We certainly have made much progress since I first came here with our building. Now it is time, high time, for us as Christians to do those things that will helpfill this renovated building: it will require great sacrifices of us all. Those things include dedicated prayer, witnessing, having a faith that is alive, and repentance. If you would see your Church grow, please be willing to grow yourself. Are you willing? Are you ready?
During the month of August, I will be preaching a series of messages about Christian growth & discipleship. The topics for the month will be as follows: Witnessing, The Day of Judgment, Our Statement of Faith, The deity of Jesus Christ, and the need for us to Launch out into the deep. I look forward to sharing these exciting messages and hope that you all are willing to press ahead: growing in your faith, and seeing the results of sacrificial Christian living.

The Ladies Fellowship Group meeting is CANCELED for the month of August. This announcement was again confirmed by your President Edna Myers. Edna has announced that the project for September will be collecting beauty aids and jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, and clip-on earrings) for the ladies. For the men you are asked to bring toiletries (no aftershave), talcum powder, lip balm, combs and brushes. The Ladies Group will make gift bags and deliver them to Golden Living Nursing Home. Here's an opportunity ladies to put that jewelry you aren't going to wear any more to good use. Can you imagine the joy that your old jewelry will bring to some lucky lady. We must not forget the men though! Edna will be checking for a list of items we might want to get for the men too.
